What the workspace stores

Your account email and name, hashed password credentials, session information, saved company plans, evidence, target lists, tasks, document links, AI review outputs and billing status. We keep up to 50 saved workspace versions. Company information is private to your account and collaborators you explicitly authorize. Expiring snapshot links reveal only the text you choose; anyone who has a link can read it until expiry or revocation.

Services involved

Vercel hosts the application. Postgres stores account and workspace data. Stripe processes payments; card details do not pass through our application. Transactional account email is sent through our configured email provider. Deck PDFs are processed for the requested review and not saved as original files by TRM. Material and raise-memo context you explicitly submit for AI review is sent to OpenAI; we request that model responses are not stored for later API retrieval. That setting is not a promise of zero provider retention. Provider security and abuse-monitoring policies can still apply.

Public research

When you request company, competitor or investor research, your submitted website and brief are sent to OpenAI with web search enabled. Use public business context rather than confidential financials or customer information. Research reports, citations and the submitted brief are saved to your account and included in exports. Public sources may be incomplete or outdated; review findings before using them. Research requests are separate from deck reviews and have their own usage allowance.

Newsletter and analytics

Newsletter subscriptions are separate from product accounts and are handled by Substack. Use its unsubscribe controls to stop newsletter email. Essential account and billing messages remain separate. Where enabled, site analytics record page and event activity. We do not include raw company financials, decks or email addresses in analytics events.

Access, export and deletion

Export your workspace data from Account, including after your paid period ends. Saved data is retained while you maintain your account; request a deletion confirmation email from Account after closing your membership, or contact hello@theraisememo.com for help. Records required for billing, security or legal obligations may need to be retained. Backups follow the hosting provider’s retention schedule. Do not add sensitive information that is unnecessary for your fundraising work.

Document links

Access to linked documents is controlled by your document provider. TRM does not make a private document public by adding its link to your private index.
